ChrisHodge86
Hi All, I've just recieved and installed my G4X for my MY00 WRX this weekend (WRX6X ECU), and got the car started and warmed up on the base tune (happy days). I'm running Firmware ver 6.17.8. Weirdly "Engine Fan 3" (triggering through Aux Ignition #4) appears to have its polarity reversed. When I turn the car to ignition and when the motor is idling, "Engine Fan 3" is on (despite none of the criteria being hit (i.e. the engine is stone cold)). If I manually switch "Aux Ignition #4 Test" to "ON", the fan switches off, which is why I say the polarity appears to be out. My question is, is there a way I can change this within the Link, or does it require a re-wire of the fan connector itself? Thanks in advance Chris
Anthony Parle
Chris is the Polarity set LOW, if its high just click on it and select LOW. You should see the fan turn off, then store the change.
