Guest |994|
Is the Link G4 ecu actually the same as Vipec?? Feedback from Racepak is that if i want to communicate between IQ3 and Link G4 I should use the Vipec interface module since it is the same manufactor for both Vipec and Link. (same hardware/software) Anyone who can confirm this, or running with this setup?? (IQ3 / Vipec interface module / Link G4) Thanks
Guest Dave-Kriedeman
VIPEC uses different firmware and has functions that the LINK doesnt, even though they are both made by LINK.

But do you think there will be a problem to communicate with Link from the IQ3 using the Vipec Can interface module!??!
Guest Dave-Kriedeman
I have never done this. It would probably work, however this question is best answered by Simon or Ashley, sorry.
Simon
Com's are the same so should have no problem connecting with adapter to either ECU.
