tbase Posted August 24, 2020 Report Share Posted August 24, 2020 I'm setting up with L13B (Non Direct Injection) from Honda but just see that VVT system is different that K20 or L15B (Direct INJ) as L13B use electronic motor to control instead of oil pressure. Adamw Posted August 24, 2020 Report Share Posted August 24, 2020 Vanos is just a two wire solenoid like most other systems so no I dont think it is anything like Vanos. Just from the number of connections it appears to be either a DC servo or possibly a stepper motor with positional feedback. So possibly more similar to E-throttle.
