Boost gear wastegate trim table

Hi everyone,

Im playing around with the table to help with my power issue. 

Does this look OK? 

I'm trying to pull the following. 

1st 100%

2nd 50%

3rd 25%

4th full boost 

5th full boost 

6th full boost 

I hope this is the way I understand this.

Trim should be negative I believe if you want to pull boost duty out. 

But if you put -50% you will remove 50% of waste gate duty. If you target 70% duty then the remaining duty in 2nd gear will be 20% and not 35%.

You need to try and find out what you Setup needs. 

Tyre slipping= more trim. 

Boost overshoot by high gear = more trim if you goal is to get the same boost on all high gears

I thought it was all set up correctly. 

Unfortunately I have a problem, the calibration isn't working. If I travel in each gear the numbers always end up the same.

What "numbers" Ends up the same?

the gear calibration numbers in my case 1.27 is what it calibrates all my gears to.

as you can see the boost is only around 20psi

the gear is set to 1. when in actual fact it was 5th and 4th

As per the help file, for gear detection to work you need driven wheel speed working.  You log shows a driven wheel speed of zero the whole time.

would i be wrong then in thinking it cannot work of the speed sensor (DI1)?

If you have a vehicle speed sensor or wheel speed sensor connected to the ecu then it is only a setup issue.

set up your driven wheel speed like adam said and you should be able to calibrate the gears

i cannot see why it cannot pick up the speed sensor ? i must be doing something wrong? 

i have attached the map if someone could have a look to say where im going wrong?

I cannot open you map yet and get a look, but you need to assign a speed input to your "driven wheel speed".

You may be able to see DI1 showing speed but you need to say the ECU that your driven wheel speed is that DI1
