SimonSTI
I have a 5 electric devices that would benefit from ECU control in the trunk. I'd like to have 1 can bus wire and a controller to simplify the wiring and avoid to much modification to the OEM wiring to scavange all output required to do so. I found this which should probably work: https://www.lingenfelter.com/product/L460370000.html#.X6LLjlBOlhE Any recommendation on other options? Anything similar for managing input and multi position switch?
barge
https://www.mrs-electronics.com/products/microplex I like the stuff from these guys. It's very customizable... but that also means it requires programming and setup. The microplex stuff has a simpler setup method than some of the other stuff. These you can get into some fairly complex stuff using C programming if you desire. You could also send data from the ECU to something like this and do much more complex logic than you can in the Link.
Adamw
When I priced up the MRS stuff a couple of years ago, the software was like USD$400 which made it kind of hard to justify unless you were using them a lot. Not sure if that has changed since. I see some of my facebook friends have been testing prototypes of the Kaizen relays so they seem like they might be getting close to release. https://kr.kaizenspeed.com/development The Lingenfelter looks quite configurable and you should have no drama getting that to work. There are also options like this: https://www.ecumaster.com/products/can-switch-board/ This has 8 analog inputs and 4 outputs, the outputs are only low current so would then need to be connected to relays. I don't want to sell anything here but if anyone needs MRS help I'll do what I can. I'm mostly just a dabbler myself.
FIS
It depends on what kind of devices you want to control, but may be this board can be used https://www.ecumaster.com/products/can-switch-board/
