mohammed
Hello, I hope all very well. My plan is wire the mercedes M113 engine As waste spark. I will Use only 4 ignition outputs out of extreme to be wired to 8 dual sparks coils reffering to the firing order. Is that ok?
Adamw
Assuming the firing order is: 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 Then ignition output 1 should be wired to cyl 1&6 ign 2 to cyl 3&5 ign 3 to cyl 4&7 ign 4 to cyl 2&

Adamw
Assuming it has a missing tooth wheel on the crank, yes.

Yes it is 60-2 Alternative plan come up if you please give me your opinon. Is it possible to drive 16 coils (GM) by using all 8 ignition drivers? If possible How wires goes? Adamw
What ecu do you have? Why do you want to do wasted spark if you have 8 ign drives?

I have extreme. I did wire sequintialy using crank and cam sensor but it doesnt work, the vehicle doesn't start at missing teeth Mode, thats why i want to try waste spark with no cam signal. 11 minutes ago, mohammed said: I have extreme. Adamw
There should be no reason that sequential and direct spark cant work reliably with the trigger pattern that your other post shows.
mohammed
That is the painfull truth! I tried for long time to manpulate the trigger angel with no positive result. May be Because i piggyback the extreme. Any suggestion Adam?
Adamw
What do you mean by "manipulate the trigger angle"? What doesnt work in sequential mode with a cam sensor?

What doesnt work in sequential mode with a cam sensor? I am Sorry if my language not understandable. I mean trigger calibration offset. When starts at missing tooth Mode which suppose to be the Correct Mode, it refused to rev and dies also engine boging, cutting althoug the timing confirmed at 0 degres. When i changed to holden v6 vvti trigger Mode the engine starts fine but iam sure that timing off badly.
