akatos88
Hi All, Hoping someone could have a look over the attached wiring diagram. Started calibrating some sensors in my Thunder last night from a harness I have made and was getting an error in PClink that system is less than 7v despite new battery. This is the first time using the harness so I'm assuming its an issue with me and not the battery. IAT and coolant sensors both calibrated correctly and showed the same ambient temp, as did Accelerator Pedal, but when I got to the overall E throttle calibration it errored. I also don't currently have a requirement for the hold power function so would be great if someone could confirm ECU will operate as drawn. This diagram is what I have tried to achieve rather than the current setup of wiring. I believe I have wired in the ignition to digital input and using the Thunder main relay +ve & -ve but as I have said don't require hold power so would like to remove. Currently at work so thought it best to work through a solution before I get home to make any changes.
Adamw
Yes, your proposed wiring is fine if you don’t need hold power. 12v on pin A5 is all the ecu needs to power up. Will need a log or more info about the throttle error.
akatos88
Legend, thanks Adam! Hoping the error was my own doing but will report back.
