Flat shift and close loop lambda

Hallo everybody,

i'm setting flat shift on Evo 8 oem gear, triggeref by clucth switch with a G4+ plug in and full close loop lambda.

Got a question: why during flat shift close loop lambda is not hinibit? that cause the CL correnction goes to max clamp (due 90% of fuel cut in flat shift...) and than when clutch is released, engine runs very rich foralmost a second untill CL correction don't acme bak to normal valure (near to0%).

Here we can see afr and corr, goes to max clamp, and than the effect of wrong corrention:

Is this issue fixed in some new firmware update?

thanks

bye Filippo

Gear cut doesnt natively disable CLL in G4+.  List below of what does.  I can add it to the request list but no guarantees if it would get looked at anytime soon.

One option would be to use a virtual aux and timer to activate based on gear shift status.  Then you can put that timer on one axis of your CLL trim limit tables so that CLL trim limit is zero for a short period every gear change.

Hi Adam,

yes, I think that a CCL lockout each time a fule cut happens, even if cames from flat shift, launch or what else, have a lot of sense, could be a great fix.

by now I set this fuel trim limit, simply puting on axis 'percentage Fuelcut %'

Yes you are in right... i've make some test and the first error I did is that with this setup is that, during shift, CCL still calculate correction but limiting to max clamp (ie 0% in my case) so as it exit from shifting and restore max clamp to 10% immediatly corrections goes to 10%... so no solve at all!

So i've make this setup: make a timer triggered by clutch switch (that starts flat shift) and a virtual aux that do the "hinibit CCL state": puting it on axies of trim limit do a good job as well, also helps to reduce CCL corrections bauncing during normal shift ...
