280SE
Heya, I’ve plugged my G1 controller into the ECU but the screen isn’t readable? Any ideas? running a 1UZ thanks in advance
Adamw
Two possibilities: Check the small black wire on the ecu plug (signal ground) still has a good earth. 2nd most common cause is a fractured solder joint at the ribbon cable header to PCB junction - could be either the hand controller end or ECU end. You can send it to us for inspection and repair if you like.

Adamw
Fill out and submit a tech support request with some basic detail here: https://linkecu.com/about/contact/ A basic repair and service usually falls under the minimum service charge which I believe is NZD150. Adamw
The fractured solder joints are most common issue with those. And often hard to see with the naked eye. Run a soldering iron over all of them to reflow.

SteveVG30
Hi. Where would I be able to purchase a controller like the one shown in the thread. In New Zealand
Adamw
They have been obsolete for 15years or more, so it will be pretty tough finding one. I dont see them come up for sale very often.
