Pretty much sold on a Thunder

Hi all,

I'm building an AC cobra replica using a 3uzFE as a power unit, twin widebands, DBW and a boat load of pressure and temp sensors. I'm taking a steer from a race car build Kelvin @ CartuneNZ did. I also fancy using the cruise control so pretty much convinced the thunder is the way to go.

I would like to control aspects of the body with the spare I/Os mostly this will just be switching the exisiting relays in the body loom. I'm using the brushed aluminium led back lit push buttons and in particular would like to have the start button 'pulse' (PWM not flash) when the engine is not running but ignition is on. Is this something the unit is capable of or would I be looking at knocking up a slave circuit to do something like that?

Appreciate your time, thanks

Chris

Hi Adamw,

Sorry, I meant not a solid on/off flash but a ramped up increase in brightness then a ramped down decrease, cycling until either the ignition is turned off or the start button is pressed and the engine is running.

I have had a quick look in the software and I think it may be possible by glueing various timer, pwm outputs and PWM tables together?

Thanks

Chris
