Calibrating oil temp

Recommended Posts

I've just installed and oil temp sensor and the calibration sheet for it shows temp vs resistance in ohms.  How will these values be affected with the ecu internal pull up resistor?  Or can I simply turn it off and the use the resistance of the sensor itself?

Theoretically the Link knows what it's internal pull-up is and then by supplying the sensor resistance calibration will allow it to calculate the output values correctly.
