V Fenech
Hi, I have a Subaru 2003 STI with G4 link ECU and I want to make the purge solenoid work. I connected the purge wire to C 13 Aux 8 instead of the rear oxygen sensor. I checked it in the Run Time values to check if it comes on with the three conditions that is supposed to work but still it stay Off in the Run Time value. But when I tested it with the test On it shows its On in the Run Time value. Can somebody advise please ?
0x33
Please attach a log and your map. You might have your conditions setup wrong if you can't get the output to activate when expected.
Adamw
I can reproduce this by testing on the bench, I suspect there is an un-discovered bug (or one that has long since been forgotten) with the purge function in G4. It wont be fixed since it has been obsolete since 2013. You can acheive the same functionality using a GP output function instead.
