Keestrack
If stationary and I press my foot on the pedal the revs jump up and down.. even with a steady pedal. If underload/driving it seems to only cut out only below 1/3 of the pedal pressed. Any ideas? Has only just started doing it the other day & haven’t changed anything. Adamw
The log just shows it idling steady at 750rpm, can do do a log showing the oscillation or cut out whatever you mention above.
Keestrack
Opps sorry, wrong log.. see attached. Log 2021-07-11 5;11;43 pm.llg
Adamw
The oscilation is over-run fuel cut switching on/off. This is because the engine is idling at 3500RPM which is above the overun deactivation RPM. So you need to find the "air leak" that is causing the idle to be so high. Keestrack
Hi Adam, The engine idles at about 600RPM. That log is with me slowly applying pressure to the accelerator pedal. Have had a good look & looks to be no air leaks.
Adamw
The log shows throttle position was 0% when it was sitting at 3500RPM. So confirm your TPS is working and calibrated. James_NZ and Keestrack
Keestrack
Thanks Adam, TPS was faulty.
