kirchoff
hello i need to wire this sensor to a monsoon g4x ecu, an temp 1 and an temp 2 is already used, so i need to use a normal an volt input. is it necessary to wire with a external resistor to have good readings or is it already inside sensor? i attach an imaged of wiring with resistor. thanks https://www.hartsockmotorsports.com/products/link-ecu-pressure-psig-and-temp-sensor-kit
Adamw
Yes you will need an external pull-up for the temp sensor.
RDantinne81
Adam- Im wiring the same sensor for both my fuel temp/ pressure and my oil temp/pressure. I see the options for wiring to temp 1-4 (link fury) Selectable/no pullup, and fixed 1k pullup. Im not yet familiar with these terms. Could provide info on the wiring of the external resistor and which input should be used. Thanks
Adamw
The OP only needed to add his own pull-up resistor because he had used up all of his temp inputs so only had AN volt inputs spare. If you are connecting these sensors to AN Temp 1-4 you dont need to do anything special wiring wise.
