therealkeal
Hey all, I've done a fair bit of searching through the forums but couldn't find an answer. My engine doesn't have an oil pressure sensor, just a one wire switch to ground (normally open). I'm having trouble figuring out how to set up the input/output for it. I would think it's just a digital input but I can't find anything for Oil Pressure warning/switch. Only Oil Level Switch in the list of functions. Should I just use that or is there a better way to do it? Ideally I'd just want something that tells me in the ecu/monitoring that it has got pressure/lost pressure. Do I set it up as a GP input Low? And if I do that, how do I create some kind of notification when there's no pressure.
Adamw
Yeah just use a DI set to GP input. Type = toggle, pull-up = on, on level = high. You could then just display it on screen or trigger a warning light, or low RPM limit etc, it is really up to you.
