salvage
Upgrading an older (2005) installation and need to identify the ignitor unit. Attached is pictures of unit, which had manufacturer tag removed. Anyone recognize visually what brand this might be? Wiring and connector leads me to believe it is simular to a Bosch 227 100 200 internals and would be wired as such. Any insight would be appreiciated. thumbnail.jfif thumbnail (4).jfif thumbnail (3).jfif thumbnail (2).jfif thumbnail (1).jfif
Adamw
Looks like an old link one. We used to make single channel and three channel. Is it driving a single coil or more?
salvage
Thank you Adam, A pair of these came in the box with my G1 Link Plus ECU setup. They were removed from a 2005 Subaru Sand car. I just wanted to check and see if I could locate wiring info before smoke testing them. This looks like the closest schematic I can find without knowing who actually made them. Interesting wiring color markings for sure. an304_bosch_2-channel_coil_igniter.pdf If I read the setup in the ECU right it looks like they were hooked up for 4 single coils. Adamw
Yes, those are old 2 channel Link ignitors. They share the same pinout as the 0227100200, except ours had an added tacho output for wasted spark setups, you wont need the tacho output with a link plus. Pinout below. salvage
