lekonna
nice! 2 questions pop to mind instantly, is the i88 pin compatible with the old v88 ? has the logging rate been improved? i recon the new cpu has native usb instead of the usb-serial controller which should make that bottle-neck go away? secondly, where can i get one
Jean Niemi
Lekonna, The pinout for the new i-series ECUs is the same as for the V-series ECUs. So, the change-over could not be easier! ECU logging has been improved in many ways for i-series. One of the improvements is that you can choose the rate for each channel. For more details it is best, if you download the new software and browse thru the Help-files. New i-series ECUs are available at the dealer near you. Dave Kriedeman
Will there be trade up specials? Hi, ViPEC themselves will not be doing trade-in deals, they are manufacturers and can not on sell second hand units. Your dealer however, may know someone who is after a second hand unit. Regards Dave.

Drac9
Any plans for additional PNP ecus? Some that come to mind are EVO X, 2008+ STI, 350z/G35, FRS/BRZ, GM LS, 5.7 and 6.1 Hemi, basically a lot of CAN bus cars.
Simon
Defiantly and that actually looks like some good options in there. To do the FRS/BRZ we need to get direct injection nailed first so that will be some time away.
Drac9
I know some are having luck running the frs/brz in port fueling only, but that seems less than ideal. What kind of timeframe might we see on these others? Pehaps patch harnesses rather than replacements boards?
