post-1651-143450214715_thumb.jpegIm trying to prepare my 4age ae86 for my v88. I want to use my dizzy for spark but run sequential injection. I have a 24 tooth and a 4 tooth wheel in my distributor. Do i need to remove 3 teeth from the 4 tooth trigger for the sync. The engine is set to tdc and the tooth with the dot on it is just past thesensor. Is this the tooth that i should keep and remove the other 3? Cheers, Trent

Hi Trent,

Yes, you will need to remove 3 teeth from the 4 tooth wheel. It doesn't matter which 3, as the trigger calibration section will take care of this. Some of the later toyota distributors had an extra wheel which had one 'ramped' tooth.

Regards,

Scott
