trickydick
Evo 4-8 BBV1.0 s/n 4963 I have a USB cable to built-in ECU but can't find details of serial (RS232) connections. I assume these are available internally - any pin-out info available please. I need to make up a dedicated cable to a race-tech logger. Thanks Richard
Dave Kriedeman
Hi , I had to make this post a couple of times before it would stay up. I have never done an EVO PNP before, some PNP boards have an extra plug socket on the bottom board but I am not sure about yours. This port looks the same as the EXPANSION Cable socket but is clearly marked for RS 232 comms also. Your option for the dash is to purchase the RS232 lead and follow the pinout diagram I have posted, or you can chop your tuning lead but I wouldn't advise doing so. I hope this helps, Regards Dave. trickydick
I see a 5 pin header on the ECU PCB marked CAN/RS232. What is the pin-out for that please. I need to make up a special serial cable for my logger so it would be most convenient to connect direct to that. Thanks
