Garthroser
Hello, I am just on the way to finish the engine loom for my BMW E30 M3 S14 engine. I want to run the original dash for the engine speed with the Signal from the i88 - the signal for the ECU Comes from a 36-1 crank trigger wheel. Has anybody experience how to wire/connect the original dash with a Vi-PEC ECU? Thanks for your help! Andreas
Dave Kriedeman
Hi, do you still have the original ECU in the car or only the ViPEC. Regards Dave.

integrale8v
In the glovebox compartment where the original ECU is, there is a small connector with 3 pins. The black wire on this is the tachometer, Just connect this to an Aux output. There is also a green wire which is 12v with key on. The last one (usually white, varies a bit) is for the MPG gauge /OBC.
