DerekAE86
Any thoughts on adding a Long Term learning mode for Idle Control base position so the ECU can dial in on more accurate base position over time?
koracing
I would think simply logging it a few times should be enough?
mapper
I totally agree, this would make sense. Also, a long term trim function for Wastegate duty cycle would be great. Wildt267
DerekAE86
I'll just tack onto this thread. But how about doing away with the min/max clamp for the idle actuator and just setting a scaler instead? So for example if you have a valve that is fully closed at 15%, any more and it starts to open again. and is essentially fully open at 80%; You could set 15 duty cycle as "0%/closed" and 80 duty cycle as "100%/open" and when you construct your base idle position and offset tables you only have to think in 0% = closed, 100% = open.
