WAC performance
I just got the expansion loom and the g4extreem is a sealed unit. Question is, where do I drill a hole for the loom to exit the ecu?
Confused
The G4X Xtreme is a Wire-In ECU, all of its available functions are available through the two main connectors. The Expansion Loom is for the vehicle-specific Plug-In ECUs, where the vehicle header doesn't have all pins available, so up to two Expansion ports are offered to add additional inputs and outputs on top of the basic functionality required to run the engine. So - if you've actually got an Xtreme, you don't need any Expansion looms, and you do not want to be drilling anything anywhere!
koracing
Assuming based on your other post you have the 350z G4x Xtreme Plug-in. You should probably just refer to it as G4x 350ZLink going forward to keep things clearer. I would recommend making the pass thru for the internal expansions on an edge or seam where you don't need to feed the wiring through a hole ideally. Basically making a "u" shaped notch or two semi-circular notches in the top and the bottom if that seems feasible such that the wires can sit in that slot without any pinching when closing the case back up. This will make any future additions or rewiring of the expansion much easier.
WAC performance
It is for a g35 vehicle specific for the car. I'm adding boost control and other sensors, so it is necessary for the expansion loom. Thanks thou for the reply
