KennyJ Posted March 12, 2024 Report Posted March 12, 2024 Can an old 4g plugin ecu communicate with a new Can Lambda ? rb26 g4plugin Quote
Adamw Posted March 13, 2024 Report Posted March 13, 2024 No, there is no CAN receive in the old G4. CAN based lambda controllers didnt come along until after that ecu was out of production. Quote

Adamw Posted March 17, 2024 Report Posted March 17, 2024 G4 has CAN transmit only, no receive. i.e. the ecu can send data to a dash display or logger for example, but it cant receive data from a lambda device. Quote

koracing Posted March 18, 2024 Report Posted March 18, 2024 Yup that's definitely not a G4+. Looks like you can't receive Lambda over CAN based on what @Adamw posted. Quote
