evo5guy Posted April 9, 2024 Report Posted April 9, 2024 Hello Everyone, I was hoping to see if anyone has had any luck transferring data from a g4+ to the newer g4X? I recently picked up a g4X for my Evo 5 and was looking to get the car running and fix any possible issues before I take it in to get tuned again. car was tuned on the g4+ 3 years ago but decided to upgrade to a newer ecu. neil brown Posted April 9, 2024 Report Posted April 9, 2024 Fresh tune as software is different between g4+ and g4x Sure you can copy tables over but the admin gods should be along soon Quote

Vaughan Posted April 9, 2024 Report Posted April 9, 2024 It's pretty easy to copy most of it across, anything PID will need to be retuned and definitely double check your trigger calibration value. evo5guy 1 Quote

I've gotten alot of the values transferred over but just stuck on the injector dead times. Quote
Vaughan Posted April 10, 2024 Report Posted April 10, 2024 If you're using 3d deadtime tables then just change the axis variables. Or even easier Right Click -> Import/Export ->Export to Clipboard in G4+ and then same in G4X but import from clipboard. Quote
evo5guy Posted April 11, 2024 Author Report Posted April 11, 2024 Hey Vaughan, how do I know if the ecu came with a 4 bar or 7 bar map sensor? on the website it lists either or Quote
Vaughan Posted April 11, 2024 Report Posted April 11, 2024 Newer ones have the 7Bar, I feel like there might be sticker on the box but easiest way is to just set it to one of the two calibrations and see if the MAP value is close to the BAP value. evo5guy 1 Quote
