Speshi Racing Posted April 19, 2024 Report Posted April 19, 2024 Anyone can help me set a pulse width modulation PID control (nitrous solenoid) Storm Black ECU Quote
dx4picco Posted April 19, 2024 Report Posted April 19, 2024 what does the PID has to do with PWMing the Aux output controling the solenoid? what is the value you want to control in closed loop? Quote

I have the nitrous activated and working with on/ off switch at the moment. I want to create an progressive controller. At the launch I want a fix percentage of nitrous and increase the Hertz after 60ft. Quote
dx4picco Posted April 19, 2024 Report Posted April 19, 2024 you don't need PID for this, just an aux output used as PWM. you want to increase the frequency or the duty? Quote
Speshi Racing Posted April 19, 2024 Author Report Posted April 19, 2024 Thing both at a point. To start with increasing frequency after that DC Quote

dx4picco Posted April 19, 2024 Report Posted April 19, 2024 Why do you want to increase frequency? Quote
Adamw Posted April 20, 2024 Report Posted April 20, 2024 A NOS solenoid would typicaly be done using a GP PWM. A basic example below. The solenoid is active when TPS is above 80% and MAP is above 200Kpa and there are no limiters active. The PWM table you can set up however you like. Use a 4D fuel table to add extra fuel when the NOS is active. Speshi Racing 1 Quote
