Rb25 patrol. Ignition and injector tests come up good, ecu appears to not trigger either outside of test mode

Using ecu test functions, both ignition and injectors test good, upon cranking/starting condition both appear to be off according to pc link. IAT seems to be faulty but tuner has that excluded from tune parameters anyway. Was running mint, as a daily for years, just turned it off one night, wouldn’t start the next day. Crank angle works. Spin it by hand and you can hear the injectors open. I am new to pc link but not new to this vehicle

Take a PC log of an attempted start and maybe a trigger scope and attach those here.

To take a PC Log connect PCLink to the ECU, press F8 or click on the "PC Log = Off" box in the top right of PCLink, crank the engine, stop cranking, press F8 again or click the same box. Logging -> Save Log File.

To take a trigger scope connect PCLink to the ECU, ECU Controls -> Trigger scope, crank the engine, click capture, keep cranking until a the scope shows up, save as log.

To save basemap connect PCLink to ECU, File -> Save as.

My log doesn’t seem to send either

inj timing does seem to say 400btdc which doesn’t seem right but it was running fine, just won’t restart. Nothing tune related was changedIMG_2432.thumb.jpeg.3d926b202f3ce5fd3ef5efe829bc2d8f.jpeg

The log shows injector pulse width and ignition dwell are being commanded.  How did you determine there is no injection & spark?

With coil removed and testing external of the head it’s certainly not producing spark unless under test conditions. Sorry I had written earlier that injectors weren’t operating but only while spinning the cas, I was mistaken I believe they’re fine. I’m focused on the spark I don’t have.

If the coils spark with ignition on when you spin the CAS, but not when you crank the engine, then that may suggest the coils are losing 12V when the ign switch is in the start position.

Does it have the later series 2 coils with built-in ignitors or the early dumb coils?  If dumb coils, does it have the factory ignitor wired in?
