Floppyz Posted May 3, 2024 Report Posted May 3, 2024 Hi, i've make a new post for this argument, hopenig this could help. Anoteher question about ALS: I don't understend when exactly ecu exit from ALS routine and goes back to normal operational or wich is its trigger/tharshold the gover this: (This car has DBW throttle, so I just use ICS overide to get more air bleed) set in this way ALS is armed when both rpm end TPS pass over this values 4000 rpm and 60% TPS. When I release throttle, ALS system starts untill and exit fro his status when .. ?? (don't metter about 3s timeout I set)... TPS gets again over 60%+10%Hyst? I can't see this behaivour from logs, but partializeing throttle at abot 20-30% timeing pops from ALS table to normal adv table and car jarks... that is a problem for drivebility: My need is to give more smooth exit from ALS status to give more drivebility in long corners... for example EMU Black has this usefull parameter "Ign. restore and retard rate" that halps a lot (also max EGT and ECT temperature are usefull as well, but for this need I set a virtual channel on anti leg system arming...) tks bye Quote
Adamw Posted May 3, 2024 Report Posted May 3, 2024 Using your example settings, ALS will be enabled when RPM exceeds 4000 and TPS exceeds 70% (60% + 10% hysteresis). ALS will be disabled 3s after both RPM falls below 4000, and TPS falls below 50% (60% - 10% Hysteresis). Note if only one falls below the enable value then ALS will stay active. Quote
Floppyz Posted May 3, 2024 Author Report Posted May 3, 2024 Well, but in the log a screenshotted APS and TPS remains below 50% (60-10) but ign pops in and out ALS status... Where I'm wrong? Quote
Adamw Posted May 4, 2024 Report Posted May 4, 2024 Cant tell much from a single screenshot that doesnt have antilag runtimes shown. Please attach the log file and a copy of the tune. Quote
Floppyz Posted May 20, 2024 Author Report Posted May 20, 2024 Just a simple dutiful update: The key for understand my issue was in this manual explanation: Degrees Absolute - Anti-Lag Retard Table numbers represent the actual ignition timing used when Anti-Lag is active. If a number of -20 is entered, the actual timing while Anti-Lag is active will be 20 degrees retarded. Note that in this mode a value of zero in the Anti-Lag Ign Retard Table will result in the normal ignition timing being used. I've change Degrees absolute to relative and tuned thinking in this way, so I get it smother as I need. Hope this could help someone. Bye FIlippo Quote
