bcormier95 Posted May 6, 2024 Report Posted May 6, 2024 Hello everyone, I got a link G4X for my redtop sr20det, 550 injectors, t28 turbo, stock CAS set as a trigger. After some messing around I got the base map uploaded, all parameters set and got the vehicle to fire up with the trigger offset set to -100. and the vehicle would idle around 10-15 degrees timing and 12.5-13 AFR. The second i hit the gas at all it falls on its face and goes full lean. no matter what parameters ive messed with it only made it run worse so im a little stuck. any guidance is appreciated! i need to get this thing driving this week. Attached is a trigger scope and a data log of the car idling and me tapping the gas. Thanks ahead of time for any help. fuel pressure is solid at 40psi the whole time and the engine parts/ignitor are all good, as the motor just came out of a well running car TriggerScopeLog.llgx PC Datalog - 2024-05-5 7_59_57 pm.llgx Quote
Adamw Posted May 6, 2024 Report Posted May 6, 2024 The injector PW looks a bit shorter than I expect for 550CC injectors on a cold engine. Have you adjusted the master fuel? Quote
bcormier95 Posted May 6, 2024 Author Report Posted May 6, 2024 Yes, i had master fuel set to 14ms and master fuel trim set to -30% for it to idle right. Quote
Adamw Posted May 6, 2024 Report Posted May 6, 2024 Leave the trim at 0, make the master bigger to see if it will then rev. I would typically see a master of 15-20ms as a rough guide for 550cc depending on fuel table numbers and fuel press etc. 14ms - 30% is effectively ~10ms which is more like what a 1000cc injector would start with. bcormier95 Posted May 6, 2024 Author Report Posted May 6, 2024 @AdamwNo luck with that, with fuel main set at 15 or over it ran worse, full rich and would die out Quote
Adamw Posted May 7, 2024 Report Posted May 7, 2024 Can you attach your tune and a fresh log. How are you seeing that it is too rich with no lambda connected? Have you confirmed the base timing with a timing light? Quote
