Hi,

I am getting mismatched actual Vs target lambda whilst driving, my tuner also had to increase my activation delay from 1s to 5s to stop my GP limit rev safety limit from kicking in (actual afr Vs target afr)  I have performed a smoke leaktest and all looks good, car is driving fine however under 4.5k or when closed loop lambda is active I am getting massive short term swings of +/- 15% and Closed loop Long term trims of +/-5% in the same load cell

So that leads me to believe that my LD performance wideband 4.9 adv is inadequate/slow/failing maybe because its analogue input connected directly to the stock Subaru lambda pin out at ECU? (Log file link here https://we.tl/t-8uai0PJp3z )

I have a few questions:

1) I have a link wrx6x with 5pin CAN1 and CAN2, I have an ic7 dash hooked into my CAN1, so can I just hook up the link can lambda to CAN2? can I also order a can splitter and hook both ic7 dash and can lambda to CAN 1 (if possible?)

2) do I need to purchase the CANJST5? does this have an in-built resistor bridging CANH/L?

If I do not, do I need to bridge a resistor over the CAN H/L at the CAN lambda end (Deutsch 4 pin)?

3) my current controller is switched on an ECU controlled independent relay to only work once ECT > 65c or Engine runtime > 60s. Am I okay to trust the rpm detection on the link CAN Lambda or shall I leave these settings to prevent the sensor from getting condensation shock (I've read this is the reason most 4.9 sensors fail)

Link CAN Lambda ordered.

Just need to figure out if I'm better off using CANJST5 in CAN2 or if I'm better off using (or if it's even possible) to use the link can splitter in CAN1 with my ic7 dash

Either option is fine, a CAN splitter will work provided you already have a DTM4 somewhere between the ECU and dash and it is using Link's standard CAN pinout.

You dont need a terminating resistor for the CAN lambda.

And yes leave the sensor heater control to the ecu, not your relay, the CAN lambda should be powered up anytime the ecu is powered up.
