Hello,

I'm having a problem when starting my car. It's an Evo3 with a G4X. The engine does a kickback before it starts up.

I've triple-checked my timing with a strobe light, and it's correct. Today, I noticed that Link collected trigger errors when I started the engine, but only during cranking. Often, it does this once and then starts up, but this time, when I logged it, it happened five times. Could it be a bad trigger sensor, or is my timing of?

This scope looks quite normal, so it would be good to try to get a couple more that capture just the first couple of revolutions as you start to crank.  This is a little trickier to do but try clicking the capture button about the same time or just a fraction of a second before you turn the key to start position.
