Hello I am looking for a simple way to connect my g4x pnp e36 ecu to a tablet dash I was planing on using a ecu masters can to blue tooth adapter would that work?

Yes, Meatpi or OBDlink MX+ is what you want.  The ecumaster device is only designed for their fixed CAN stream and their own app.
