Håvard Karlsen Posted May 21, 2024 Report Posted May 21, 2024 Hello, i do not get spark on this. Are these signals wrong? Triggerwheel is 36-1. Spark test is ok. Quote
Vaughan Posted May 21, 2024 Report Posted May 21, 2024 Your trigger 1 sensor wires are the wrong way around and need to be swapped. Where is that sensor located, what motor is it and what trigger settings do you have in the ECU? Quote
Håvard Karlsen Posted May 21, 2024 Author Report Posted May 21, 2024 Its a twstroke 1000 ccm. The sensor can be seen on the picture. we have tried the wires the other way too. i will post settings tomorrow Quote

My question about sensor location was referring to camshaft vs crank shaft but that is covered by it being a 2 stroke. The wires the other way around is the correct way, both ways will give triggers with the right settings but the current wire orientation will give lots of ignition movement due to inconsistent zero crossings on the falling edge. Vaughan Posted May 22, 2024 Report Posted May 22, 2024 Trigger 2 sync Mode should be set to None. Can you take a short PC Log of you attempting to start it and attach it here please. To confirm if you have a spark plug outside of the engine connected to a coil with the spark plug threads earthed you can see a spark on ignition test but not when cranking? What ignition coils are you using and are they smart or dumb coils? Quote
Håvard Karlsen Posted May 23, 2024 Author Report Posted May 23, 2024 Its smart coils. Spark is ok on tests, no spark while cranking. I will log later to day. PS! got spark when ther trigger 2 was set to none. Thanks Vaughan 1 Quote
