CRacing8 Posted May 23, 2024 Report Posted May 23, 2024 Good morning Link Forum, I am working in a Nissan 200SX with SR20DET engine and with NS15 plug in ECU, The car has installed a NGK R8 Coils with a wiring loom adapter to use it with the stock wiring loom of the car. (I don't know the procedence os this kit because I didn't install it on the car) When begin to tuning this car it has a lot of interferences that were repaired changing the battery that was in bad condition. I think that this intereferences are the same that now are affecting the car. When I test the car I see that when you are making hard driving the car begins to lost the syncronization specially if the car spin the wheels and it increase very fast the rpm (It is not the rev limit because I see a lost of the rpm measure) or in low gears (1st or 2 with fast accelerations, it also happen up to 6000 rpm). If I change the dwell time to less time the car don't runs smooth and also happen the same, If I increase the dwell time the problem increases. This problem happens to me also with other ECUs and different cars. In some occasions changing the configuration of the crankshaft sensors I can solve it but without underestanding what I am making. If I put and scope to check the interferences the car usually shuts down. Always happens at high rpm, more than 5500 in all the cars. I send attached a log where you can see a lost of synchronization with the name RPM problem, and other that it is better with the name 240502 1508 200sx mas carga bobinas test. Do someone know how can I solve it? RPM problem.rar 240522 1508 200sx mas carga bobinas test.llgx Quote
Adamw Posted May 23, 2024 Report Posted May 23, 2024 There is not really any useful data in the logs, you really need to do a PC log to capture all of the relevant channels. Is it still using the stock Nissan 360 CAS? Can you attach a copy of the tune file. Quote
CRacing8 Posted May 23, 2024 Author Report Posted May 23, 2024 Thank you very much for your response Adam, I will try it, but also the ECU has a lot of problems to maintain always the connection with the computer, this also happens to me with this problems other times. Kind regards, Quote
CRacing8 Posted May 23, 2024 Author Report Posted May 23, 2024 I also add attached a Log file with MBT ignition less 1 degree. It is the same log file that in the other post that I wrote. It is the stock Nissan 360 CAS I hope it is enough. If not I can try to make more test but I cannot make all the test that I made before. Thank you very much in advance. Kind regards 200 sx test road PC Log.llgx Quote
CRacing8 Posted May 24, 2024 Author Report Posted May 24, 2024 I also add attached trigger scopes of the car, I see that the signal of the trigger 1 scope decreases its high voltage when I accelerate the car, For me is some strange see a hall trigger signal that works at 4 volts, but I don't know if it is a problem or not. I put the Scope on the CAS and I see 12V, 0V and the two trigger signals with the same pattern that on the ECU. mainly with a little more read on voltage. I cannot add all the files due to the forum tolds me that I can add a photo of this space. Trigger Scope - 2024-05-24 10;30;50 am.llgx Trigger Scope - 2024-05-24 10;07;09 am.llgx Quote
