gooost Posted May 24, 2024 Report Posted May 24, 2024 I am currently working on early beams 3sgte swapped ae86(SR5) Corolla. The car has 20v ITBs therefore it is not running stock MAF sensor. Currently I have a vacuum block plumbed with monsoon vacuum line coming off it. The car has a Panic Made engine harness which is plug and play for this setup. I have done an Injector test, where all can be heard running. I have done ignition test and tested for spark, i replaced a dead coil and all spark plugs. When i attempt to start the car, it doesnt catch. If I apply gas while starting it will run poorly as if it was running on 3 cylinders, always a of smoke and stinks of fuel. Apparently this model of G4+ doesn't have the trigger scope as ecu returns back an error "this ecu does not have this function" , so was looking for a little assistance with diagnosing the possible timing issue. In the log the Trig Error reaches 9 Also, the map sensor An Volt 5 Map sensor was disabled as it was just giving back no feed back. I cant figure out how to get a reading from the map As this software doesn't have a drop down to select 'internal' for source for the map. thanks. startinglogfile.llg tunelogfile.pclr Quote
Adamw Posted May 24, 2024 Report Posted May 24, 2024 For the MAP sensor you just need to set AN Volt 5 to MAP which is the only option. It should read about the same as BAP with the engine off and if you suck on the hose as hard as you can you should be able to see a change of 10kpa or so. There is no triggerscope in the G4+ Atom or Monsoon, you really need a standalone scope to diagnose a trigger issue if there is one. I would start by reducing the trig 1 arming threshold to 2V at 1000RPM. Quote
