N350x in a 350z. Steering wheel cruise control buttons, can they be configured to be switches through CAN?

Hello,

Installed a plugin N350x box into a 350z.  Manual states that CAN information involving Fan controls, ac request, and wheel speeds are available.  What about steering wheel cruise buttons?  Customer would like "map switching" but if I can make the ecu see them as switches I can configure low/high boost switch.

Is there anything I can do with the auto shifter position detection?  This is an auto car that we swapped a manual in as well as ecu install.

The cruise control switch is set up on AN Volt 1 in the base map, is this not working?  Does the voltage on AN Volt 1 change when you press the buttons?

If you dont want to use them for cruise control then assign AN Volt 1 to a GP output and specify the voltage for the specific button as conditions.

If you are asking if the ecu can change what is displayed on the dash - no.  This comes from the trans controller.
