howdy lads,

I have got an S3 8L i am wrapping up a build on.

Original Map i had the car running on went no good once I completed the induction work and fabrication as well as adding a flex sensor to the system.

The Build Specs are as follows:

- Forged 1.8t, 82mm pistons, GTX3071R ex gated.

- Intergrated engineering Street/Race Cams: Exhaust: 267 Deg Advertised, 204 Deg @ 0.050",  0.370" Lift, 108 CLA. Intake: 258 Deg Advertised, 208 Deg @ 0.050", 0.353" Lift, 108 CLA.

- Intake/Fuel: bosch 0280158040 ev14s 980cc, I.E Manifold, Standard TB, 3 bar MAP pre TB, Conti FlexSensor, AEM wideband wired into ECU as well as factory O2 (vehicle standard ), DW65V intake pump.

Long story short, just need to get it in a running state, hoping someone sound can tink with the MAP provided to get it operation, cant pull a log cause it wont start and run, has fuel pressure and all.

Many Thanks in Advance xoxox

I dont see any reason why that existing map wouldnt run it.  I would reduce the master fuel to about 12ms and see if it gives more signs of life at that.  If not then you will need to do a PC log of a start attempt so we can have some clues to work from.

It appears that all the fundamentals are working as expected in your log, it should have everything it needs to run.  Battery voltage is fairly low but should still be adequate to start.  Does it have straight petrol in the tank at present or e85?  It would be worth trying cranking with it WOT in case it is flooded, see it there are any more signs of life like that.

Is your MAP sensor really located pre-throttle body?  If so, this it will read ambient pressure when cranking, but with the throttle closed the Manifold Pressure will be much less.  Your data log shows this.

You really should install a MAP sensor into the manifold (ie. post throttle), the pressure sensor you have pre-throttle body should be configured to be the Boost Pressure.

The factory location for the MAP is on a housing PRE TB, I have utilized the onboard map sensor in the ecu that is tapped directly too the manifold, so yeah I should configure the external sensor to read BP and the internal as MAP, which i got no idea how to do xD.

got it to run, runs like crap but.
