Henrik Posted September 12 Report Posted September 12 I use a Vipec V44 and really want a rolling launch control. Ai i drive along at any rpm, push a button and the ecu holds that rpm and retards timing. Is this possible? Quote
Adamw Posted September 12 Report Posted September 12 Unfortunately no, rolling antilag didnt really become a common strategy until after the V series was obsolete. Quote
Henrik Posted September 12 Author Report Posted September 12 Thanks for answer. So if i get a i44 or a Link g4+ it would be possible? Are the connector and pin out same? Quote
Adamw Posted September 12 Report Posted September 12 Yes i88 & G4+ has rolling antilag (it is called latched launch control in Link terminology). The A connector is the same on all our ECU's, there are a few small changes to pinout depending which specific G4+ or G4X you get but they are designed to be interchangeable. The main difference is the 8V pin, a Monsoon for example has a digital input in this position instead of 8V so if you have anything powered from 8V you might have to move this to 12V. Quote
