calibrated1993
Hi! I have installed vipec v44 on my calibra turbo, and now i have problems with starting the car,it coughs, but it doesent want to start...prior to this,i had original engine ecu and wiring and it was starting normally, only things that are different to old setup in terms of sensors are: -Camshaft sensor instead of old distributor cap with ignition leads -coil on plug ignition, with coils from VW/Audi -IAT sensor specific to vipec/link ecu...i dont want to use original Bosch one, because i dont know how will vipec interact with it... So car cranks, coughs, with strong smell of petrol...i think i need a base map,so if anyone can help,my setup is as follows: -470cc blue injectors (Opel astra OPC) -3bar fuel pressure -2 liter inline four engine -crankshaft trigger 60-2 -coil on plug ignition (VW/Audi coils) Thanks in advance... Adamw
Have you set the base timing? Have you tried changing the offset by 360deg in case you are sparking on exhaust stroke?
