KStone Posted October 5, 2024 Report Posted October 5, 2024 Engine will start and run at about 1800 -2000 RPM but no pedal at all. APS is showing movement but nothing from TPS. Scott at Tech support has been no help. Waiting to see if they will put me in touch with someone else. I've got 16 days before eviction so I kinda need some help. I may put original 2J throttle body back on and try e-throttle module with that but I would prefer Tacoma 6 wire throttle body and pedal because it's a cleaner install and throttle body isn't sitting so close to turbo (thanks DNA). KStone Posted October 7, 2024 Author Report Posted October 7, 2024 CalFile10-3.pclxCalFile10-3.pclx I'll go plug in and get a PC log of the issue. Thanks. PC Datalog - 2024-10-7 12;36;19 am.llgx Quote
Adamw Posted October 7, 2024 Report Posted October 7, 2024 So I assume you have an external e-throttle module wired in between the storm and ecu? In the log I can see the ecu is outputting a command signal but there is no change in voltage on either of the 2 TPS sensors. Basic software setup looks ok so there is likely a wiring issue. Do if you watch AN Volt 3 & 4 voltages in the runtimes screen, do they change if you move the throttle blade by hand? Is the RET white wire connected to Aux 2? Quote
KStone Posted October 7, 2024 Author Report Posted October 7, 2024 I am running Link's external h bridge. When I move the throttle blade by hand, yes the voltage moves accordingly. I've gone over the wiring and made sure that it is getting a solid 12 volts with key on. The white wire from h bridge is going to pin 86 of relay, to pin 85 aux 2 (orange/brown), and switching ground set to low are pins 87 and 30. I may try switching 85 and 86. Not sure if that matters. Then I will try inputting the tps main, sub, and 100%sub values manually. Quote
Adamw Posted October 7, 2024 Report Posted October 7, 2024 There should be no additional relay? The white wire should be connected directly to aux 2. The red wire should be connected to the same relay that powers the ecu. Quote
