ECU Fault Code 46: An Temp 2 above Error High Value

Hi there,

I have a G4 Storm in my 1JZ Soarer. The car has a bad missing problem that makes it pop and miss but then clears by keeping accelerator on.

I've checked timing and tested coils and injectors. Fuel reg shows pressure. Have put new sets of plugs in.

I've just downloaded the Tuning software and it's giving me this fault code:

ECU Fault Code 46: An Temp 2 above Error High Value 


Are you able to elaborate on what this fault code is and would that be causing my missing problem?

AN temp 2 is often the Air temp input.

For it to go above the error value (assuming it is set correctly) would be if the sensor has become unplugged / lost connection.

If being used this would have an effect on the fueling.
