mark brown
Hi, I have wired in a lemg3 ecu into a r32 skyline rb30det, I have used a r32/r33gts base map and configured it to suit. the problem i am having is i have a narrow band 02 sensor connected to an-volt 1. how do i configure the computer to read these values for closed loop lambda control? or does it only read wide band 02 sensors via an external wb controller? or does it not have this function at all? Thanks, Mark
Top Tune NZ
best to use a wide band controler like the innovate system as the table is already in the ecu to config it
Jurgen Biggelaar
Hi Mark. As Dobsons mention, a wideband unit is neccessary for controlling the closed loop lambda. Narrow band has only a span of about 1v at, or around stoic; as apposed to the 5v span of a wide band. It will be practically useless to you for determining O2 adjustments neccessary in any normal given driving day. By installing a wide band, you will get the full benefit of closed loop lambda for fuelling corrections based off the target AFR table.
