Patrick mccaul
Help needed losing my mind now here goes link G3 running rb25 run perfect for years then developed an ignition misfire on high boost, changed coil packs, ignitor, tried another ecu from another car, cas, changed wiring for cas still misfiring but now it's cutting out, it brings up high voltage of 23 volts then cuts out, changed alternator and checked its charging perfect 14.4 volts all across the Rev range but still shows fault high voltage in Ecu, if anti lag Switch is on voltage is stablizied, checked all earths, wiring etc etc HELP
Simon
Is the voltage stable and at a normal level while the engine is not running? Or is it only an issue once the engine is running. If its only an issue while the engine is running it could indicate the main 14V into the ECU is not connected. This can cause the internal voltage to rise due to it not having anywhere for back EMF energy form solenoids to go.
Patrick mccaul
voltage is normal when running its from 4500rpm up it goes unstable, I'll check all powers at the ecu
