Lance John Posted June 8, 2013 Report Share Posted June 8, 2013 Ive got a Link G1 V4 that was previously installed on a SR20det Nissan motor, im wanting to install in on a Toyota 4EFTE but some one told me it wont work because SR20det's have optical pickups... is this true?? Cameron Moore Posted June 10, 2013 Report Share Posted June 10, 2013 Hi Lance, Yes this is correct, you can change the trigger board inside the ECU to suit other applications, but as this is such an old computer we no longer have any of those boards here. Your best option would be to sell the unit to someone that wants to use it in the Nissan configuration and upgrade to a G4 Atom or Storm.
