Brad Foreman
howsit.i have a link d42v5e on my RB30ET.and off the intake manifold the hoses go from the plenum to the idle controller (which isnt plugged in) and then goes all teh way down to the back of the plenum wich goes into another idle controller.which isnt plugged in either.and then goes into the J pipe intercooler pipe before the throttle body.it sounds realy loud like theres a leak on the idle controller if this is possible at all? i was wondering that since they are not pluged in can i take all the hoses off and block the intake manifold? will this affect the tune and make it out of tune or will it be allright like that??? any help would be muchly apreciated
Phil Williams
Hi Brad, I wouldn't block the idle valves off as these often bleed some air when unplugged. Assuming the car wasn't tuned with the leak your best option is to fix the leek. After your repairs it would be advised to get the tune checked by your nearest Link Dealer.
