Shane Deadman
Sorry to drag this one up again Has anyone had any luck making an amplifier or buying one to increase the low level signal. Its not for a tacho as such but is the engine speed signal into a trans ecu. Needs to be a high level signal. I had the resistor changed to suit a low level signal but that sorted one issue and made a bunch of others. Im not using the cam sensor so I could fit a dissy and wire up a coil just to get the signal. Would rather try to amplifie what ive got. Any help would be apprechiated .Thanks
Adamw
Did you try a relay coil already? Like this: http://www.haltech.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Relay-Wiring-for-Tacho-Output1.pdf
Shane Deadman
I haven't yet tried making 1 of those ,was a bit worried about back feeding and killing G4. Would you use the tacho feeds from the igniters or g4 output I have the 2 igniter output going through a VR4 adaptor thing and getting the correct signal just to lower voltage.
