Brett Rodwell
Currently I have high impedance Siemens 14mm 610cc injectors and was wondering if I use low impedance Rochestor 14mm 1000cc injectors will work with the LINK G3. Also which are better high or low? Thanks
Phil Williams
Hi Brett, The G3 doesn't support low impedance injectors directly, although you can run them with ballast resistors. Neither injector can be considered better. It's just more common for high flow injectors to be low impedance. Regards, Phil
Brett Rodwell
Thanks Phil
Dan Pidde
If you want to run large, low impedance injectors I recommend using an actual peak-and-hold driver. FJO Racing Products has a four channel unit for reasonable money. In my experience, low impedance injectors open significantly slower when used with balast resistors. On a small displacement engine, this can be an issue when it comes to idle tuning. In peak and hold format, low impedance injectors should open all the way down to .7 mSec. Brett Rodwell
Actually I heard the same thing, that low impedence injectors will be rough on idle. I was trying to find some 14mm 1000cc+ high impedence injectors. I'm trying to buy them online but having troubles finding any. Is their any online stores that sell 14mm 1000cc+ high impedence injectors.
