I purchased a new WRXLink G3 last week and in terms of upgrading the firmware do you only need to upgrade the latest Firmware, being ver 1.3.6, or are the specific firmware upgrades for specific model ecus and for specific vehicles? ashesman Posted April 9, 2007 Report Share Posted April 9, 2007 Our firmware upgrades work for all G3 ECU's as they have a common software platform. If your ECU has software version 1.3.6 (this can be found in the PCLink help menu), then there is no benefit of upgrading the firmware until the next release....
