Dan Rae Posted August 30, 2009 Report Share Posted August 30, 2009 I currently have no spark. I have a 1uz with G1 V5 that I did have running at one point. The ingitors get hot after cranking the engine. I connected a test light from the battery to the negative terminal on the LH coil plug and it only comes on for a couple of seconds after the engine has stopped cranking. Shouldn't it pulse while cranking? Also occasionally the RH coil makes a buzzing sound after cranking. I'm well and truly baffled? Any ideas? Simon Posted September 4, 2009 Report Share Posted September 4, 2009 Hi Dan. It sounds like you might be missing an RPM signal and could also have the ECU configuration incorrect.
