Matt Howe
Is it just me or is the air intake temp sensor an awkwardly shaped nightmare of a big lump of plastic? the ones ive seen used with autronic ecus, for example, are small and neatly screw into the IC pipe. Why cant the link ones be the same? Or is it possible to use another type intake air temp sensor? Alternatively, Id like to see how other people have mounted theirs. Guest Dave
Hi Matt I have felt the same so i bring in one with a normal thread type (14 by 1.5)Â Â easy to fit and most shops have the appropriate tap Regards Dave [email protected]
ashesman
Matt, I assume you are talking about the black bosch sensors??? We also offer a screw in sensor and fitting boss. You bore a hole in your intake pipe, weld the boss on and away you go.  Much the same as with Dave's sensor.... Alternately you can drill and tap the pipe if it has enough meat in it.  Check them out HERE...
