Chris Harris Posted January 29, 2012 Report Posted January 29, 2012 Just installed & wired G4 Extreme into racecar, on first quick look at configuration, need load axis to be controlled by TPS only. Instructions are there confirming this needs to be done with .800 valve lift, but can't find actual prompt amongst configuration tables to program this in. Appreciate help before I next get time to finish this task.  Quote
Scott Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 Hi Chris, Connect your ECU to PCLink (F3 key). Select the table you wish you change in the ECU settings window. Right click on the table and click 'Axis Setup'. Change the current load axis (probably MGP) to TPS (MAIN). Click 'Init Axis', then Click Apply and then Close. You will need to do this for each table you wish to change, Make sure when you have finished making your changes that you store (F4 Key) the new settings. Scott. Quote
Scott Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 Hi again Chris, In the above message I have made the assumption you are running the latest PCLink (4.8.82). Let me know if you are running a different version and need some help. Cheers, Scott. Quote
Chris Harris Posted January 30, 2012 Author Report Posted January 30, 2012 Thanks Scott, Will try next time I get back to it. I have the (4, 8, 82). See you have an even later version, should I upgrade before continuing. Chris H. Quote
Scott Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 Hi Chris, Currently the latest release of PCLink is 4.8.82. If you are running that already you will be fine. You can configure the table axis by right clicking on the table in any version, just the actual layout has been changed over the versions. Regards, Scott. Quote
